Data privacy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website. The joint controllers for the processing of your personal data are the Province of Upper Austria, Department of Culture and LIVA Linzer Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH.

This data is processed for the fulfilment of (pre-)contractual obligations in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. We store the data until your enquiry has been answered, unless a statutory retention obligation arises from the content of the respective enquiry. This data will not be passed on to third parties.

Cookies

Our website uses ‘session cookies’, which are temporary cookies that remain in your browser’s cookie file until you leave our website and are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

We use the „Real Cookie Banner“ consent tool to manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents. Details on how ‘Real Cookie Banner’ works can be found at https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung/.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.

Matomo

Matomo is an open source program that analyses user flows on the website for quality assurance and optimisation purposes. Cookies are used for this purpose. The information obtained about website usage is transmitted exclusively to Matomo servers and summarised in pseudonymous user profiles. The IP addresses are anonymised so that they cannot be assigned to individual users. The data is not passed on to third parties.

Matomo uses cookies (small data files that are transferred from websites to computers or devices) for recording purposes and to improve the functionality of the website. You can revoke your consent at any time by deleting the cookies in your browser or changing your data protection settings. You can also deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your Internet browser. Cookies that have already been saved can be deleted at any time.

Data protection notice Newsletter

The following information explains the content of our newsletter as well as the registration, dispatch and statistical analysis procedures and your rights of objection. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive it and to the procedures described.

Content of the newsletter: We only send newsletters, emails and other electronic notifications with advertising information (hereinafter ‘newsletter’) with the consent of the recipient or with legal authorisation. If the contents of the newsletter are specifically described when registering for the newsletter, they are decisive for the user’s consent. In addition, our newsletters contain interesting facts and event information relating to Anton Bruckner 2024.

Double opt-in and logging: Registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no-one can register with other people’s e-mail addresses. Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes saving the time of registration and confirmation. Changes to your data stored with the dispatch service provider are also logged.

Mailing service provider: The newsletter is sent by Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin (HRB 133191 B, Charlottenburg District Court (Berlin)), hereinafter referred to as the ‘mailing service provider’. All information on data processing by the shipping service provider can be found here.

The mailing service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or pass it on to third parties.

Registration data: To subscribe to the newsletter, it is sufficient to enter your email address.

Statistical survey and analyses – The newsletters contain a so-called ‘web-beacon’, i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the server of the mailing service provider when the newsletter is opened. As part of this retrieval, technical information is initially collected, such as information about the browser and your system and the time of retrieval. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or access times. The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. However, we have activated full data protection compliance in sendinblue, which is why this information cannot be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. In the reports, the data of the recipients who open and click is displayed in purely anonymised form. Furthermore, no complete IP addresses are collected.

Cancellation/revocation – You can cancel the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke your consent. At the same time, your consent to its dispatch by the dispatch service provider and the statistical analyses will expire. Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel the dispatch by the dispatch service provider or the statistical analyses separately. You will find a link to unsubscribe from the newsletter at the end of each newsletter. If users have only subscribed to the newsletter and cancelled this subscription, their personal data will be deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to information about your stored personal data as well as a right to rectification, data transfer, objection, restriction of processing and blocking/anonymisation or deletion of the data, provided that no exception (e.g. statutory retention obligation) exists and in accordance with the statutory provisions. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us violates the applicable data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you have the option of complaining to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the data protection authority (www.dsb.gv.at) is responsible for this.
