The podcast of the OÖ KulturEXPO Anton Bruckner 2024 presents projects and initiatives that took place as part of the Bruckner Year. In the episodes, you will learn exciting background stories and get to know the Upper Austrian composer from different perspectives. The podcast is held in German.

Bruckner G'schichten

In the video series ‘Bruckner G’schichten’, we present 35 Bruckner locations that played a special role in the life and work of the outstanding composer Anton Bruckner. Markus Kaiser-Mühlecker has embarked on an exciting journey for us to follow in the footsteps of Anton Bruckner. He spoke to local experts and personalities who talk about the connection between Bruckner and the places that shaped him and make personal connections. The video series is in German.

Wagner cycles Bruckner

As part of ‘Wagner cycles Bruckner’, composer and musician David Wagner collected audio donations of short motifs from the 9 Bruckner symphonies on video from residents of Bruckner streets, alleyways and squares throughout Upper Austria. Brass meets Taste

The pianists of the Academy for Gifted Students of the Upper Austrian State Music School meet the trombonists of the Anton Bruckner Private University. In addition to Anton Bruckner’s complete piano works, including works for two and four hands, selected works by Anton Bruckner for trombone ensembles will also be performed.
