Throughout the year, Anton Bruckner’s centenary was a welcome occasion to jointly present Upper Austrian culture in all its diversity, which found expression in numerous projects centred around Bruckner. 24-Hour Birthday Party

The 200th anniversary of the Upper Austrian composer’s birth was celebrated with a 24-hour birthday party for Anton Bruckner. In the spirit of the OÖ KulturEXPO, Bruckner was celebrated in all corners of the country. Here you will find an overview of the day’s highlights.

The grand Finale

On 30 November, the OÖ KulturEXPO Anton Bruckner 2024 and the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024 joined forces at the ALFA Laakirchen to bring this diverse super cultural year to a fitting close together with the region, Upper Austria and the whole of Europe.
