As a 19-year-old schoolboy in Kronstorf, Bruckner felt "as if he was in heaven" and described himself as a composer for the first time. To commemorate the Bruckner Year, the market town has re-staged Bruckner's former living room as a museum and is celebrating the reopening of the world's smallest Bruckner museum on 27.04.2024 in the place where he originally lived as a school assistant.
