It is often said that Bruckner's music is difficult and demanding and only suitable for professional musicians. This is not true at all, as Play.Sing. (P.S.) Bruckner proves: 4 booklets, each with 8 Bruckner melodies and excerpts, newly arranged by renowned arrangers for a wide variety of ensemble formations. These offer different levels of difficulty, but also feature the  colourful sound of various musical styles!

Bruckner High 3

Do something for yourself and your 3rd or 4th primary school class and embark on a Bruckner project in three acts:

In the first and second part of the programme, your class will enjoy a visit from experienced Bruckner mediators who will introduce the man and composer in an engaging way. In the final stage, you are asked to select one of the many different excursion destinations in Upper Austria which have a connection to Bruckner.

Events

A music and events program such as the one for Anton Bruckner 2024 has not been organised for a long time and has perhaps never taken place in this form ever before. In Brucknerland in Upper Austria, literally everyone is invited to come up with something for Bruckner's birthday and to contribute their own little event to the programme: the heavy metal band from the rehearsal room in the basement of the neighboring house as well as the local church choir and brass band. Here you will find all of the events suitable for children and young people at a glance.

The joint search will take you through the city of Linz, right across the "Bruckner heartland" of greater Linz and in all other directions in Upper Austria.

The aim is to solve fun tasks to find out more about Anton's eventful life, get to know the respective location and successfully complete the relaxed round - and the person who collects enough points can win one of the great prizes!
