Data protection
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website. The persons responsible for processing your personal data are jointly the State Government of Upper Austria, Department of Culture, and LIVA Linzer Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH.
Contact
If you contact us by form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide (name, e-mail address, message, etc.) will be processed by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. This data is processed for the fulfillment of (pre-)contractual obligations pursuant to Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR. We store the data until we have answered your inquiry, unless a legal obligation to retain the data arises from the content of the respective inquiry. This data will not be passed on to third parties.
Cookies
Our website uses "session cookies," which are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave our website and are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Real Cookie Banner
To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool "Real Cookie Banner". Details on how "Real Cookie Banner" works can be found at https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung/.
Legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DS-GVO and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.

Matomo
Matomo is an open source program that analyzes user flows on the website for quality assurance and optimization. Cookies are used for this purpose. The information obtained about website usage is transmitted exclusively to Matomo servers and summarized in pseudonymous usage profiles. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment to individual users is not possible. The data is not passed on to third parties.
Matomo uses cookies (small data files transferred from websites to computers or devices) for record-keeping purposes and to improve the functionality of the website. You can revoke your consent at any time by deleting the cookies in your browser or changing your privacy settings. You can also disable or restrict the transfer of cookies by changing the settings in your internet browser. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time.
Matomo uses the following sub-processors to process the collected data: AlwaysData//Paris, France.
Image, video and sound recordings
As part of the OÖ KulturEXPO, authorized persons will make television, film and photo recordings. These are published for the purpose of public relations and presentation of our activities in social media, publications and on websites (legitimate interest). Newsletter data protection notice
The following information explains the content of our newsletter as well as the registration, dispatch and statistical evaluation procedure and your rights of objection. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive it and to the procedures described.
Content of the newsletter: We only send newsletters, emails and other electronic notifications with advertising information (hereinafter "newsletter") with the consent of the recipient or with legal permission. If the contents of the newsletter are specifically described when registering for the newsletter, they are decisive for the user's consent. In addition, our newsletters contain interesting facts and event information relating to Anton Bruckner 2024.
Double opt-in and logging: Registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registering you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no-one can register with other people's e-mail addresses. Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes saving the time of registration and confirmation. Changes to your data stored with the mailing service provider are also logged.
Dispatch service provider: The newsletter is sent by Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin (HRB 133191 B, Charlottenburg District Court (Berlin)), hereinafter referred to as the "dispatch service provider". All information on data processing by the mailing service provider can be found here.
The mailing service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or pass it on to third parties.
Registration data: To subscribe to the newsletter, simply enter your e-mail address.
Statistical survey and analyses - The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the server of the mailing service provider when the newsletter is opened. As part of this retrieval, technical information is initially collected, such as information about the browser and your system and the time of retrieval. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or access times. The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. However, we have activated full data protection compliance in sendinblue, which is why this information cannot be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. In the reports, the data of the recipients who open and click are displayed in purely anonymized form. Furthermore, no complete IP addresses are collected.
Cancellation/revocation - You can cancel the receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke your consent. At the same time, your consent to its dispatch by the dispatch service provider and the statistical analyses will expire. Unfortunately, it is not possible to separately withdraw your consent to the newsletter being sent by the mailing service provider or to the statistical analysis. You will find a link to unsubscribe from the newsletter at the end of each newsletter. If users have only registered for the newsletter and have canceled this registration, their personal data will be deleted.
Your Rights
You have the right to information about your stored personal data as well as a right to correction, data transfer, objection, or restriction of processing as well as blocking/anonymization or deletion of the data, insofar as no exception (e.g., legal obligation to retain data) exists and in accordance with the legal provisions. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us violates applicable data protection law or that your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you have the option of complaining to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the competent authority for this is the Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
