Jakob Weinberger is entranced, excited, thrilled! On 18 December, 1892, the young music student witnesses the world premiere of Anton Bruckner's Eighth Symphony in Vienna. At the end of this evening, Jakob's mind is made up: he wants to become Bruckner's first and only biographer! In "Bruckner Doesn't Die", Christian Schacherreiter combines the form of an artist's biography with a classic novel of character development.
